Wintry day no barrier for young runners

The Clinton sports grounds hosted the 2022 Small Schools Cross-Country competition last Wednesday afternoon. Early-morning temperatures as low as -7degC were no deterrent as hundreds of school children and adults arrived to encourage every effort of the top young athletes.

Clutha Leader reporter Nick Brook was there to capture the action.
