The South Otago High School girls XV lined up against the combined schools Alliance team at Logan Park last Wednesday evening. Despite Alliance gaining the upper hand, the SOHS team held its nerve and took the game to the more experienced Alliance side. Kayley Strachan eventually grabbed a late runaway try. The final score was 65-5 to Alliance. Clutha Leader’s John Cosgrove went along to record the action.
