The 200th Balclutha parkrun was held recently on Saturday, October 22. The free, timed 5km event was launched in Balclutha in May 2018 by Rod Deverson and has been held every Saturday since aside from Covid-19 lockdowns. The milestone was celebrated with a sausage sizzle and cake with 35 runners and 13 volunteers turning out to make the most of a beautiful day. All people are welcome at 8am on Saturdays for the run and organisers are keen for new members to join them.
