It was finals night for South Otago Netball senior premier grade at the Cross Recreation Centre on Friday.

Black Gold Sting took on Clutha Mitsi in a close› fought match in the premier 1 final for the Petrie Shield.

Black Gold Sting led 16›12 at halftime but Clutha Mitsi caught and passed them to end up winning by just one point

— 28›27.

It was not quite so close in the playoff for third where Redwyns had a relatively comfortable win over Southern Plumbing, leading 20›9 at halftime before prevailing 37›24.

Good sportsmanship. . . Southern Plumbing and Redwyns team players acknowledge each others’ efforts with a handshake at the end of their third place playoff match.
