Children made the most of the snowfall during their unscheduled time away from school on Thursday, on the Balclutha Golf Club hills. Enthusiastic youngsters (from left) Meg Smith (10), Liam Huddleston (11), Ryan Hurring (11), Morgan Huddleston (14), Ruby Smith (14), and Eva Smith (10), enjoyed the dumpings of snow the town received last week with some old-fashioned sledding using boogie boards and snowboards.
