The first winner of the Silver Fern Farms (SFF) ‘‘Local Legends’’ leg of lamb is Louise McLaren-Hosking (right), of Kaitangata, who received her lamb leg from Clutha Leader’s Rozel Taylor.
Mrs McLaren-Hosking was nominated for her organisation of the Kaitangata Car Show and Run, which has raised thousands of dollars for local charities and groups for 10 years.
Nominated groups or individuals should align with SFF’s values of ‘‘always caring, unstoppable together and improving tomorrow’’.
