This week’s winner of the Silver Fern Farms Local Legend prize is Faylyn Milne, of Balclutha. Faylyn was nominated for her continual efforts working in the Balclutha Kindergarten, going ‘‘above and beyond’’ for the children she cares for.
She was labelled ‘‘kind and caring,’’ by her nominees, who said she loved seeing the little ones achieve things they never thought they could do.
