Launching a series of new Inzone Experience careers kiosks in Balclutha schools last Thursday are (from left) Inzone Experience directors Peter and Donna Doake, Jobbortunities co-ordinator Ruth Carraway, and Clutha Mayor Bryan Cadogan. Mrs Carraway said the Jobbortunities Mayors Taskforce for Jobs was sponsoring kiosks for each of the five high schools in Clutha: Tokomairiro High School, South Otago High School, Catlins Area School, Lawrence Area School and Blue Mountain College.

‘‘Inzone’s high-tech careers kiosks provides schools with up-to-date careers information and a fantastic multimedia view of a wide range of employment and training opportunities across the country. Younger students also have a unique opportunity to find a career they can be passionate about. Students can then select the correct subjects to maximise their potential to advance in these industries,’’ Mrs Carraway said.

The Career Inzone Coach would be promoting the initiative today at Blue Mountain College, Tapanui, she said.
