Police have been attending numerous incidents last week and are continuing to encourage residents in the district to keep an eye out and keep track of personal items and equipment.
On Friday police conducted two search warrants in the Balclutha area where they recovered and seized firearms and drugs at the locations.
The people involved will appear in the Dunedin District Court at a later date.
On Sunday morning a vehicle failed to stop for police in Balclutha, and inquiries are ongoing to track down the driver.
On Sunday police responded to a reported bike theft in Milton.
The bike was located and recovered later on in the night by police.
Balclutha sergeant Sam Morris said they had been attending a few bike thefts throughout the week and inquiries were ongoing in the area.
Police have also continued to deal with incidents of family harm and mental health incidents.
