Dozens of people swarmed to the annual Rotary Book Sale last Friday to grab their reading fix. Locals sifted through their favourite genres and authors and found books for their children, family, friends and themselves. Balclutha rotarian Tania Lowery said the busy three-day sale raised more than $7500 and she was excited for the money to be put back into local projects. ‘‘It will be a great help and we’re very grateful to the community for their support.’’ REPORT & PHOTO: EVELYN THORN
