South Otago Embroiderers’ Guild members Maureen McLean (left) and Anne Richardson were among the talented local artists taking part in the annual Creative Arts Exhibition held atthe Creative Arts Centre in Balclutha last week.
Many varieties of artwork were displayed throughout the building and work was produced by the South Otago Embroiderers, Patchwork, Art and Creative Fibre Groups.
Items including Anzac› themed quilts, handmade cushions, framed embroidered art and many other pieces were available to see and buy between Tuesday and Sunday.
Mrs McLean said members were excited to give locals an opportunity to stop and enjoy the efforts of South Otago artists. REPORT AND PHOTO: EVELYN THORN
