The Gore-based social development organisation provides communities with access to portable computer gaming systems, allowing participants to engage in advanced multi-player video gaming.

The Balclutha event drew a large number of participants over the two five-hour sessions. Participants played a variety of computer games, sampled virtual reality gaming and also dabbled in Beyblade Arena gaming.

Many attending the first session, for those aged 15 and under, said they hoped the event would come to the town again soon as it was a lot of fun. PHOTO: JOHN COSGROVE
