
Rehearsals for the South Otago Theatrical Society’s latest production Dreams Are Free is well on schedule.
Director and choreographer Robyn Gardner said the musical was a compilation of both classical and modern musical excerpts the theatre company had not yet performed.
‘‘The numbers chosen range from The Greatest Showman to Beauty and the Beast, from Rock of Ages to Mamma Mia,’’ she said.
‘‘It will be held in our 70›seat George St theatre — and be a ‘big little show’ running over six nights from August 12.
‘‘It is a fun›filled family night of entertainment.’’
